Westbury Park Engineering has worked closely with Lodge Cottrell for many years, with 2020 seeing the creation of the biggest bag filter in the partnership to date. This was fabricated for the Hooton Park facility in Liverpool, where an estimated 240,000 tonnes of waste will be converted to energy each year.
WPE undertook the fabrication of the whole bag filter including the pipework, ducting and support steel work structure, which when combined, totalled 295 tonnes. All the main fabric filter units and ducting were built on top of master jigs in order to enable all flanges to line up perfectly without issue.
